2011年諾貝爾物理獎得主Brian P. Schmidt教授即將親臨中興大學！他以觀測「超新星加速膨脹」證實宇宙正加速擴張，開啟了暗能量研究的新頁，深刻改變人類對宇宙命運的理解。

Nobel Laureate Prof. Brian P. Schmidt, winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics, is coming to NCHU! Prof. Schmidt’sgroundbreaking discovery—that distant supernovae reveal the accelerating expansion of the universe—launched the era of dark-energy research and reshaped our understanding of the cosmos.His public talk, “Science: Humanity’s Universal Bridge,” will explore how science connects people, cultures, and our shared future. A special introductory session for high-school students will highlight the essentials of the Nobel-winning discovery before the main lecture. Participants will also have the rare chance to take photos and receive autographs from Prof. Schmidt. Students fascinated by science—this is an opportunity you will not want to miss!
