Education Giant Principal Wang Ta-jyou Leads Mingdao High School into a New Era of Innovative Invention Education, Cultivating Global Top Leaders for the Future!

Mingdao High School has once again showcased its excellence in innovation on the international stage, winning a total of 10 gold medals and 6 silver medals at the 2023 Malaysia International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) and the 2023 Korea World Invention Creativity Olympic(WICO). These impressive results set a new record for any other Taiwanese schools participating in the international exhibitions this year, showing Mingdao High School's leadership position in the fields of invention education and innovation.

The "2023 Malaysia International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX)" is a leading global invention exhibition, with 730 entries from 19 countries competing. Mingdao High School students showed their keen observation of various phenomena and needs in everyday life, providing practical solutions through their creative inventions. In this exhibition, Mingdao High School not only won 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals but earned high praise from international judges.

On the other hand, the "2023 Korea World Invention Creativity Olympic(WICO)" is another world-renowned invention competition that challenges participants' innovation skills and invention talents. Mingdao High School attained 6 gold medals and 4 silver medals in this competition, once again proving Taiwan's extraordinary innovation capabilities on the international stage.

These remarkable achievements are attributed to the cultivation of students by Lee Yen-Tan, the head coordinator of the Creativity Center at Mingdao High School. Lee Yen-Tan stated that the center is committed to invention education, encouraging students to participate in various international competitions and guiding them in in-depth creative thinking and practice. In this atmosphere that sparks creativity, students can boldly experiment and constantly innovate, making their creative achievements to shine on stage internationally.
